There is air in the lines you will need to bleed them out first crack (take loose) the line comming into the injection pump and crank the motor over for a bit this will cause the lift pump to force the air out of that line tighten up when no bubles come out then repeat on injector lines to purge air out of the injection pump this should solve your problems

Hold the pedal to the floor while you spin the motor, that will put the computer into a clear flood condition and will cut all fuel to the injectors allowing you to clear out the intake and cylinders. You also might check and see if you have a vacuum controlled fuel pressure regulator. If the vacuum line to that is broken, or the regulator is bad and letting fuel flow through the vacuum line will also cause this problem.

99 tahoe 5.7 wont start

your fuel pressure is suppose to be 60 - 66 psi. first replace fuel filter.and check vacuum line going to fuel pressure regulator.make sure vacuum is going to vacuum line.if changing fuel filter dont help. fuel pump could be faulty.

Wont start

I'm assuming the engine is cranking over while turning the key and wont start. from this assumsion it possible the cam sensor on the timing chain is broken. or no fuel pressure. to test for fuel pressure, turn the igntion key on, locate the fuel line & port on the fuel line, remove the cap & depress the small screader valve by using a small pocket screwdriver, fuel should shoot out with a lot of pressure. no fuel shooting out most likey the fuel pump is bad. if this has good pressure the cam sensor is most likey the cause. to replace the sensor, you need to replace the timing chain.

Change fuel filter on a 01 a6 and car wont start

Loosen the line on the filter going to the engine. It maybe has an air lock in the line. Cracking it open will releive the air & then the gas will flow out.

1994 F350 WILL NOT START

you simply have to bleed the fuel lines...

to do that just loose up the line and have someone rotate the engine until you have some fuel going there...

make sure that your fuel filter is full because you will do this for nothing...

it should only take like 5 minutes of bleeding...

Just changed broken fuel line on 99 f350 7.3l and wont start now

You can try this, turn on ignition, you should hear a whirrling noise from the fuel pump, if you hear it, turn ignition off, wait a few seconds, turn it back on, do this 3 to 4 times, so the fuel pump can build up some pressure, then hold the pedal down about half way while your cranking the engine. If there isn't anything else wrong, it should start.

that year truck some one may
have change the motor from a manual fuel pump to eletric and never removed the old line when you start your truck and if you hear a humming sound than you have a eletric fuel pump and that explain's the old fuel line if there's no leaking of fuel than you can remove the remains and it wont hurt any thing other than that i would have to see the situation.
