2005 G6 Rear Brakelight & Blinker Problem

I have a 2005 G6. The rear Brake Light, Running Light, and Blinker are all failing to work. I replace the bulb and still no love. I got into the fuse boxes and did find 1 blown fuse, but it was for the Cigarette Lighters which also didn't work. Could it possibly be a relay of some sort?? Where to go from here??

2011 Honda CRV. Right brake light is on with headlights; hit brake, left brakelight brightens;right remains dim. Headlamps off, hit brake, only left lamp lights. Bulb works. Is it a fuse problem?

Your right brake light is fried. The fact that you see rear lights on both sides has nothing to do with the fact that the right brake light is out. Your brake lights and rear running lights are not the same bulbs. Go to Advance Auto Parts. They may even replace it for you. Not a big deal.

Rear brakelights dont come on fuses and bulbs are fine rear window brake light works

If the high level brake light works, then the brake light circuit is fully functional.

Brake light bulbs may LOOK fine, but can still have failed. Often folks don't notice that one bulb has failed until the second one has blown; it's then easy to incorrectly assume that the fault is more complex.

Try replacing the brake light bulbs: if that doesn't work then please report back for additional options.

Rear blinker/brake light failure

It is a dual element bulb. Sounds like one of the elements is blown. Try replacing the bulb.

Owners manuel chapter 11 & 12 should show you the fuse box placement and layout..there are two fuse boxes, inside behind the coin holder to the left of the steering wheel, slide out the holder..I believe #5 on the fuse box is the fuse for tail/brake lights. Also under the hood in the engine compartment on drivers side there is the main fuse box.

Using a test light check to see if there is power to the wire at the plug where the bulb is for the blinker. if so the socket is bad. if not check to see if the light assembly is working for ex. the parking lights or the brake light ect If those lights dont work then check the fuse for the right rear tail light. Hope this helps.

99 mercury mystide had rear running light broken

If the driver's side tail light is working, it's not a fuse. Use a test light to check for power at the bulb holder. One terminal will be for tail light, the other for brake/turn light. If the is constant power for tail light, replace bulb. If no power, trace wiring from bulb holder to driver's side junction. Probable broken wire between the two tail lights.

Brake light not working

I had to replace the multi function switch which is the blinker switch on the stearing column. This switch controls the rear brake lights. Had to replace this switch 2 times.

About $250.00 - $300.00 from a US dealer.

Good luck
