Presumably you DID check the gaps in the spark plugs before you fitted them? If unsure, remove and: a) check the colour of the deposit (if any) on the plugs ... should be light brown, not black. b) adjust the gaps on the plugs - refer to manufacturer's recommendation. If all this seems to be OK, then test each spark plug lead. It's possible, though unlikely, that in removing the leads from the plugs that one or more has been damaged. Best of good luck!

open glove box door and there are 4 grey plastic 2 piece rivets to remove with a forked door panel tool, release the glove box light and pull glove box bucket from dash. rest is self explanatory.

How do you open the hood of a 1978 Mercedes 450SL?


pull lever on driver side lower left panel. Then push down on hood a little while at same time( inside the mercedes emblem in center of grill) pull up on lever inside grill.

test the fuel pressure.check the vacuum lines,and the vacuum advance,test the spark,and do a proper tune up including the fuel filter

Removal of brake booster from a 1979 Mercedes 450SL


Remove under dash panels,carpet & move relays aside.It's tight in there. Watch spacers on piston bolt to brake pedal.
