Question about 2004 Audi A4
2004 audi a 4 2.5 tdi. Runns smooth but if i exelarate from a slow speed, or a standing start the car judders for the first few seconds.
Your description is a very common fault in multitronic gearboxes. Repairs can be prices, but if you can show good oil change service history to a Audi dealership your likely to get a good will contribution. Worse case, a new gearbox is required. Some can be repaired internally and some require new hydraulic control units or electronic control units. All depending on the out come of tests. Hope this helps.

It sounds like the thrust bearing is on it way out, have you just had a clutch fitted?
