SOURCE: 89 suburban stalls while driving

Hello! This is Saailer at your service...You have to many solutions for any human to deal with...FIRST...Tell me what engine is in the vehicle; Be specific...SECOND...The "check engine light" on your suburban will be the brake light in the speedometer cluster. There is no actual check engine light on your model...Your vehicle is On Board Diagnostic I (OBDI)...There is a plug called the ALDL connector...See picture below... It is located on the drivers side mounted on bottom of dash or back up under it... Short A and B together with a paperclip or wire; With key on engine off and watch " light for blinking... Each code repeats itself 3 times....Example: "blink" pause "blink" "blink" is code 12 "blink" "blink" pause "blink" is 21...Remember each code will repeat 3 times then go to next code if you have many codes this will take a while be patient...The last code is 12 Code 12 is always the first and last code, this tells you that it is in diagnostics (first 12) Last 12 means end...Go to the link below for a list of codes...When you have a code/codes send them to me and I'll take it from there...Guru..saailer

2002 suburban start and dies, its not the fuel pump. what is it

Is there a security lamp on the dash that is on or flashing? Any applicable trouble codes? My info shows you have passlock, usually a fuel injector disable, only, may start and stall. If vehicle starts and stalls, leave key in the on position, If security lamp does not flash, the passlock system should not be at fault.

Why would my 1999 mercury mystique stall after driving for about 30 minutes and will start again with starting fluid but won't run on its own? Please help.

You most likely have a fuel pump that is getting bad. If you have access to a fuel pessure gauge, you can borrow them from your oreilly auto part store for free, put it on and drve your car and watch to see if the pressure starts to drop when it stalls. I think this is most likely your problem.

My 93 Chevy Suburban k1500 stalls when going through puddles and will not start back up right away. It turns over very.slow after it stalls.

Sounds like exposed wiring possibly on the ignition coil or alternater simillar issues happen when weather pack connectors on vital sensors leak causing the sensors to malfuntion most likely exposed wires though since its not getting solid power to the starter after the stall

My 91 suburban does not start or stay running , intermittantly . The fuel pump and filter was changed but the problem remains . also if I do get it started it runs fine for a while then starts bucking and...

I have a 91 suburban and it wont hold idle. I am waiting for and egr valve. if that fixes it i will let you know. I was told that they can have an internal vacuum leak therefore being difficult to detect.
