Question about 1994 BMW 3 Series
I went to turn on the car one day and it wouldnt start so i jumped it and things seem fine.when i got back home i turned it off and back on because i was going to visit my father.then the car wouldnt start so i took it to wal mart to get it tested and i was told that the battery was bad and that i needed a new one.so i got a brand new one because of the warranty.then i installed the new battery and the alarm went off then tried to turn on the car and still it wouldnt start!.The car doesnt make the crankin sound but all the lights in the car are good so it shows me that the battery is good.i need help, what do i need to do in order to get my car up n running? thanks
Check Your Battery, o perhaps You have a power leak, The way to do that is, with the car off key out take one of the battery terminals off than on the battery nipple connection put the end of a test light, and on the terminal that You have remove the other end of the test light, if light comes on You have a power leak, to find in which circuit leaks live test light connected to both, battery and removed terminal start taking fuses on and off till lights on test light goes off, and when that happen, that's the fuse where the power leak is located
