I have been also trying to find the right firing order for a 1999 Corolla 1.8 automatic and I have seen three different answers all saying they are authoritive. One says 126.96.36.199, one says he is wrong and it is 188.8.131.52 on a 98-99 and 184.108.40.206 on later corollas, Autozone says it is 220.127.116.11. I have tried them all and I still get a P300, 302 and 303 problem. I have switched the ignition coils and still have the problem. Clearly my problem is something else, but when I do get it fixed I need to know the right firing order. I just switched the engine with a used Japanese engine so I am not sure if something might not be compatable with my computer or the Camshaft position sensor is not compatible. Still I need to know the right firing order. Tell me why you think it is that would be helpful.
