Question about 2002 Buick Century
No injector pulse. The shop can make it pulse with the scanner. But car will not do it on it's own.. Replaced several senors and ecm. It does not throw any codes with the upgraded GM code reader.

does your key have a chip on it ? if it does , the problem is going to be that ,key chip only works with the original computer , until you have it reprogrammed by the dealer . this is an anti theft function to keep someone from stealing your car . there fore your car will not start until the chip matches the ecm.

You will need to take the car to a dealership to have the service department unlock the radio for you. They have a special code to unlock the radio and then you are required to change the code to one that you will remember. An appointment should not be needed because this takes about 5 minutes. I do not remember the code, sorry.

P0446 Evaporative Emission Control System Vent Control Circuit Malfunction
The evaporative emission control system checks to make sure there are no leaks in the lines that run from the gas tank to the charcoal canister and up to the engine. It also checks to make sure the gas cap is sealing correctly.
It may just be that the cap was not on tight and the code was tripped.
A dusty environment can also clog the vent line and cause this code.
Have the code cleared and see if it comes back. Some auto parts stores like Auto Zone can read and clear the codes for you.
Hope this helps.

what you need to do is pull the radio out and write down the serial number then call the dealer for the code. they may charge you 15-25 bucks but that will save you some money
