We recommend converting the battery in Audis each four years. although some batteries closing much longer, maximum batteries begin breaking down chemically after four years, so that you ought to revel in dimmer headlights and other negative outcomes before you've got a lifeless battery on your Q7 which you want to replace.

Turn the Q7 on and on your phone, in your blutooth menu, search for paired devices, the Audi UHV should appear. Select that device. It will then ask for a code. Look in your manual for the Audi Code and enter it in your phone.

Is this an all the time issue or only in certain locations? If only in certain locations you may be getting interference blocking/restricting/reducing the range of your remote. (power lines, electrical equipment etc). You may still have a battery issue in the remote(s) depending on how often the remote was used and its probably the least expensive way to check the system. Second you can have a disconnected/bad antenna. Most newer vehicles have the antenna built into the car I believe the Audi is located inside the C-Pillar of the SUV (not easy to access). It could have become damaged or disconnected. Third and finally possibly the alarm unit itself (very rare) could be a cause. Start with the batteries.

I have very small range for the remote control audi q7

An 09 plate Q7 should still be in warrenty as Audi offer a three year warrenty with a limit of 60,000 miles. If your vehicle is out of warrenty Audi are also known very well for good will providing the vehicle has been serviced at an Audi dealership. Try replacing the battery in the key as this may have an effect
