Code reads, Tran. (Solinoid A) is bad, this is a later model trans. How do you change it? I have been told that. You have to pull the tranie is this true? Thank you.
You should be able to replace the solinoid with out pulling the trans but you will need to drop the subframe to gain axcess to the side of the trans

Well you didn't say what engine is in it so,I'll wing it. Assuming it's a v6, the airbox is located in the front, probably driver side. Remove the 4 or 5 wing nuts or Phillips head screws. Gently but firmly lift the top housing & slide the old filter out. Put the new one in,making sure it's in the same way as the old one came out. It can't go in upside down anyway but I'm being specific. Re-install the housing & done!!
