Yes, remove the rear seat cusion and then lift up the padding. Take the screws out of the cover and them you can access the top of the fuel tank and remove the pump and fuel level sending unit.
Very easy!

SOURCE: 1996 toyota tarago is stalling on an irregular

The mechanic is most likely correct the vehicles have double intake as well as double exhaust valves which allows the motor to retain most of its power even if one of the valves burns out. However if an intake valve burns or fails there usually is a popping sound or misfire upon acceleration in this case you most likely have a burnt or worn exhaust valve, you have about six months to a year before the truck starts really misbehaving. Just address the side of the engine or head that has the burnt valve don't let them talk you into doing both cylinder heads you may go 250,000 to 300,00 miles before having to do a full valve job on the truck. These motors are fairly tough so just do the one head not both when the time comes.

The fuel pump will not be supplied power to work if the sensor that is driven by ignition pulses from the distributor is faulty or the pulses are not getting to the sensor.

Hi i got a toyota tarago 96 model that wont start my wife was driving and she heard a bang then the car stopped in the middle of the street so i changed filters n spark plugs n pumps still no start

There are videos on you tube for diagnosing vehicle no start problems ! Rather then just replacing parts . Testing for spark and fuel pressure and engine compression . Timing chain problems etc... My advice to you would be take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop . Save yourself some money . You spent how much already ? i changed filters n spark plugs n pumps still no start !!!!!!!

Can a 2002 2.4 toyota camry use petrol with ethnaol in it

It can, but nobody will recommend it, except maybe the manufacturer.
Cars aren't designed to run on ethanol, and when they do, alot of the parts can become worn and tired, quicker than usual. For the few cents you save when filling your tank up with fuel, you'll lose it all, and some when you have to cough up for some hefty repairs.

My husband changes the engine from a Toyota Tarago 98 into a 96 model car! What happen is the engine turn over but doesn't fire up. We thought it was an I mobilizer but the electrician came around,

I would first see if you have spark. Does the computer actually see the engine cranking. If there is spark does the fuel pump turn on when the ignition is turned to the on position. If so is there enough fuel pressure, if so do the injectors deliver the gas. For most at home, only a qualified tech. can help you from here.
