96 chrysler cirrus got fire and fuel but wont start

Vacuum leak is most likely cause of failing to start when you have fuel and fire. Also the signal from the coolant temperature sensor affects the computers fuel injection amount. Could be too lean or too rich. When a coolant sensor first starts to go bad the engine will be slow to start the first time. Turn it off and it will start right up.

Will not crank

Tps has nothing to do with sparks. If you had sparks going to the distrubuter but none coming out, the cap or rotor is not installed correctly.

Hi Mike it seems you have a problem with a faulty connection to the ECU. Check the fuses, relay and connections for good connection and the earthing cables. Regards John

Slow to crank ,but will fire right up after about tries.First and second try it will just turn over and over and will not fire .Is there a sensor that may cause this

your crank sensor may be bad but if its turning over slow you may check the charge in your battery as well as your connections for corrosion

Lazy starting and mis firing wen first startin but then runs ok

Hi! I can only give a suggestion as to slow starting, The starter motor windings have probably been cooked? so when cold seem o.k. but at operating temp expand and the armature receives less power. Have you recently tried starting from cold with a poor battery? if so this is the reason, volts go down Amps go up stewing the windings in the starter motor. Misfire could be due to condensation? is the vehicle Garaged?
Hope this helps!
