Provided you did not connect the battery jump leads incorrectly, (which should have blown this fuse.)

(Correct is... Positive + to Posative and Negative -- to Negative.

I would charge up the battery, have it tested, and renew the fuse and go from there.

If all runs normally, check your alternator belt tension too.

Good Luck

I blew a fuse. replaced it now car won't start

This is not good. Look for a fusable link under the hood. This is a safety device that will melt the link in case of a short. This device protects the electrical system when you do something wrong. Look for a wire that is partially melted or completely gone. That's where you will find the link. Now, the hard part is finding out what happened. Did you short something out? Better take a close look at all the work you were doing and see if you crossed any wires. Good luck.

Engine will turn over but won't start

Check all fuses,,, Is starter Ok?
The ignition switch is most likely cause...Check to see if there is a power fuse or a strap type fuse that is burned into fusable links also if any are present.they would be on or close to a positive acess for jumping car..

1000 volt jump start placed incorrectly

Your system probably has a lot of relays and other electronics that are bad now. Your Electronic Control Unit (ECU) may be cooked as well. You may also have a fusable link that has been blown as well. The fusable link is basicly an in-line fuse that you have to replace the wire to replace the fuse. Get a wiring schematic and look to see if theres a fuse or similar that you misssed. You may find that you dont have power going to all or part of one of your fuse panels.

Hope this helps...

Electrical problems when starting

This sounds like a loose or bad ground cable. This can be checked by attaching negative side of jumper cable to engine and negative terminal of battery. If this solves problem, replace cable.
