If you do not need or can get by without heat you can bypass the heater core by disconecting the coolant hose that runs from the block to the firewall (heater core) and reconnect it to the engine block where the coolant return hose connecets between the firewall and the engine block.

Your heater on the passenger side is probably cracked, maybe, its just like a radiator in your engine compartment, check the inlet ,outlet tubes, located on your firewall, are the two heater hoses connected properly, tight, leaking ? bottomline, you probably need to replace your heater core, thats what I'd do ! goodluck

Since when do you store your antifreeze in your glovebox? Seriously, the leak is right where you think it is (very clever). It is actually coming from one or both heater core hoses or from the core itself. That is the core that air blows through to keep you warm in the winter. You probably should get the Haynes service manual for the make, model and year of your truck to find the easiest way to access the heater core and hoses, but I will try to help. Go to your engine compartment and look for the 2 hoses that go through the firewall that are next to each other. They connect the engine cooling jacket to the heater core. You may have to access the hose connections from under the dash, or by removing the cover of the heater box from the engine side. I do not know for sure, but you need to get to it one way or another. Good Luck!

Your heater core is leaking. Replacement of this part is a big job and should be done by a professional.

SOURCE: Car is leaking antifreeze from underneath of car

watch for leaks and follow them after you drive i would geuss checking your thermostate housing both parts, the hoses that go to the heater core by the throttle body and the hose that goes to the throttle body, im guessing this is the turbo, if it is a non turbo it would be a hoses the waterpump or the oring that goes into the waterpipe on the front of the block, just get in there and take a good luck and remember the rules of gravity =) good luck man and if you need any parts for it let me know we got alot of these parts cars out in our yard

SOURCE: my 91 honda accord is leaking antifreeze

probably your lower rad hose. shine a flashlight around underneath and see if you see it reflecting off of a liquid trail, that will tell you where the leak is coming from. you can also get leak tracer to add to your coolant that will leave a more visible sign.

SOURCE: Mazda Tribute. Water leak under driver's feet. Had

Generally, water on the passenger side is the A/C drain tube.
Driver side generally means widshield or sun roof seal leak.
Did you wash the Mazda or did it rain prior to puddling?
Before disassembling the windshield seal, test ... with a water hose (Remove floormat and place a towel on newspapers on the driver's side floor).
There is a "smoke" test" that can more accurately find the leak. See if you local AutoZone will rent one (maybe free) to you.

Testimonial: "Thanks. Relieved it's not likely to be a/c. It has just rained for the first time for a month so will investigate further."

SOURCE: Air Conditioning water leak inside

The drainage tube for the evaporator case is plugged causing the the condensation to drain inside instead of outside the car. The car will probably need to be lifted to find the drainage tube. Use a pick to gently remove the debris blocking the tube. You must be very careful as not to puncture the evaporator core.

Check the engine see if leaking out of side of engine. Could be welsh plugs are corroded.. Check when engine cold under the inlet manifold of the engine for any thin rubber hoses that might be hidden from normal view.

Locate AC drain line

ac drain pipes are on the passenger side front floor area (just about where your feet go) under car when cars heater core gets a hole in it lots of times antifreeze will leak inside car on floor try to get a small sample of fluid thats leaking out with a tissue or something (white In color) see what color fluid is ,see if fluid is slippery like oil or not (rub it between fingers)
Antifreeze= orange or green in color
Transmission oil = red or brown
motor oil = brown to black
washer fluid = Blue or drk orange
ac condesate= clear water (cold)

My floor board on passenger side is soakin wet thought it might be my drain plug but i cant find it or it might be my heatercoil

If your heater core is leaking, your coolant will be low, and the leak will be antifreeze, not water.
The drain hose should be at the firewall,or lower just in front of where the passengers feet go.

Antifreeze/coolant leaking from under passenger side dash

If it's your heater core, unless you're a mechanic you probably should get professional help. The heater core is located on the firewall and many parts need to be replaced to get to it. Do you see water on the floor inside the vehicle, Many times a heater core will leak inside.
