SOURCE: where can I find the fuse box that is supposed to be under the instrument panel on the driver side

You have to lay on your back under the steering wheel (pain!!) and get a flashlight ..... its under there. Just a STUPID location. (close to the plastic cover aroung the steering wheel shaft)

this is a common problem. to repair, the radio must be removed. if you are handy with electronics repair, you can remove the faceplate and circuit boards and solder in new lights, other wise take the radio to an electronics repair shop, usually around $100 repair i believe.
