Could you please tell me the correct input sequence of my car stereo code? I have changed the battery in my car and can,t find the stereo manual. Please help

if you bought the car new than it is a code that you entered if you forgot the code than you have to have it reset by a dealer if they can still do it. if you bought the car new and never entered a code than call the car dealer and ask them for the factory setting for your year and make and mode;.

Trying to hook up aftermarket stereo with no factory harness. How can I go about wiring my new stereo wires or my replacement harness (with module) to my car's already existing loose stereo wiring??

Hi Daniel

You need to test & label all the loose wires.

Use a multimeter in Ohms mode to place a tickle of electricity to each speaker wire. you should hear each speaker crackle. (Multimeters only use a 9v battery internally)
Label each pair of wires for speakers.
Their color coding may help. Keep the negative & positive wires to the speakers correct so that the speakers all travel in a forward motion together or you will have distortion from one speaker that is out of phase with the others.
You will also have a permanent +12v line and a Ignition Key +12 volt line.
One keeps the station memory etc when the ignition key is off.

Cheers

How come theres no power going to the stereo on my 1997 plymouth grand voyager se ralley

I assume fuses have already been checked. Are there other items out as well? Is it an aftermarket stereo? The fuse panel should be labeled relatively well, and even after market "should" be powered through the correct fuse. It is possible that an inline fuss was used during installation... Just trace the wires backwards from the back of the unit as well as you can. Double check that the wires are plugged in firmly while you're getting around the wires too. Best of luck.

I cant unlock my car stereo and i forgot my personal code

You need to pull the stereo out to get the stereo serial# and then go to the dealership with your driver license along with your car registration. You need to go to service station and they'll get the stereo code# to you. Some dealership they might keep the stereo code in their data bank, so just show them your car registration where they can get your VIN# and they'll get the code# for you.

Im putting n a stereo but i dont no the color code

The stereo side of the wires should be labeled. Check out the12volt.com for a wiring schematic for the truck side. I advise against cutting and splicing wires for a stereo installation though. They make inexpensive harness adapters that will allow you to splice into the stereo harness without cutting into the factory wiring.

What is the stereo code for a BMW 325i '94? someone help plzzzz

pull the radio, write down the serial #, call BMW and it will be a 4 digit code.

Dont enter the wrong one....you will then have to wait 1.5 hrs with the key on ACC and radio hooked up for the wrong code to clear to be able to enter in the correct code.

They figure radio thieves just dont have 1.5 hrs to hang around.

Stereo u lock code

When you purchased the vehicle, there should have been an unlock code in the manual or on a card. This unlock code is related to the serial and model number of your stereo. If you lost it, contact Buick to get the code again.
