Probably sensors! I have already replaced the crankshaft positioning sensor once, nissan replaced it once under recall and now it is bad again! Plus my speed sensor is bad too! Go to any part store and get diagnostic test ran, it will tell what sensors are bad.

CHECK TRANSMISSION FLUID COULD BE LOW OR YOU NEED A TRANSMISSION FLUID AND FILTER CHANGED.SOUND LIKE EITHER TRANSMISSION SLIPPING OR EMERGENCY BRAKE STILL APPLIED OR YOU HAVE RESTRICTED EXHAUST.DO CHECK ENGINE FLASHES.IF YES AUTO ZONE OR ANY AUTO PARTS STORE WILL CODE SCAN CAR FREE AND TELL YOU WHAT CODE CAUSING CHECK ENGINE LIGHT TO FLASH.

Transmission is slipping what can i do

Depending on how many miles you have on it. You may need to have some repairs done. I don't know if there is much you can do to a jeep after it starts slipping other than try and change the fluid. The rebuild is the best option for you for sure. But you could put some no slip transmission fluid additives in it. Go to a parts store if you think thats your best option and tell them whats wrong and they will hook you up with some good additives. Go to Advance Auto or Auto Zone. The rebuild will be less expensive if the transmission still functions. Around $1000 versus the non functioning transmission that would cost about $1400-$2000. New transmission cost a lot more.
And don't forget! Please leave four thumbs up. I always try my best at explaining my answer to your problem.
And for your safety, here is a complete list of recalls on your vehicle. If your vehicle is affected by one or more of these recalls, then you may qualify for a free repair!

My saturn vue is bogging down when i give it gas like it is starving for fuel ?

Start with the simple and replace your fuel filter, air filter and clean your MAF sensor. You can buy and MAF sensor cleaner at Auto Zone and the fuel filter also. While your there Auto Zone can scan your Saturn for any DTC codes that my be causing your engine performance issues, Auto Zone scan free of charge and if there is any DTC codes. They can give you the information to what needs to be done to get your Saturn running 100% again soon.
Thank you for using fixya and good luck. Keep me posted.

Ecm problems

It may just be a simple fix like the Vehicle Velocity Sensor wire harness gone bad or the sensor it self needs to be replace. If there is an Auto Zone or transmission shop around your area, have them scan the Rav for any DTC code that is related to the Issues your having. To replace the sensor just take no more then 15 min and can be done with common tools, Auto Zone will have the part and the step by step instructions to getting the job done. The sensor it self is on the tail end shaft of the transmission on the drivers side. Good luck

Dodge Truck Transmission

It could be the Vehicle Velocity Sensor (VVS) or it could be the Transmission control module (TCM). Check all the wire harness, V.V.S and T.C.M. The best thing to do is to check the truck for any DTC code. Auto Zone scan free of charge and hope we can find out why the transmission is not working properly. Keep me posted, be glad to help.

What cost $1,600, did you replace, rebuild or what.

From 1993 Suburban and up the transmission is computer shifted. If replacing or rebuilding the transmission did not fix the problem I would suggest you check the wiring and replace the computer.

Rpm goes to 0, or goes dead

Your going to have to get the car scanned for a DTC code. Auto Zone can scan free of charge and a transmission shop can do it too, since i am leaning towards a DTC code P0715 which is a input turbine speed sensor circuit malfunction. Good luck and keep me posted, if it is the input speed sensor,it.s not a hard job to do and Auto Zone can give you the step by step instruction to replace it.

I just had some shop in New Orleans repair my transmission $1710.00 worth. I was there on business, drove home approx 275 miles and my check engine light came on. Initially it was running good but after...

it could be your vechicle speed sensor circuit.the code could be either PO500 this sensor is loacated on you transmission. There is no code that well say transmission slipping. It can only be you vss sensor that will give you that reading.
