If you lost just your key, Go to the dealership with your registration and ID. They can cut you a key from your VIN number. Hope this saves you a head ache Cheers from Nova Scotia!

I lost the keys to my 1997 chevy tahoe. how do I replace them?

Hi, you can have your local Chevy dealer cut new keys for you. You will need to take the VIN number located on the top dash and a picture ID to the dealers parts department. Or there is always a locksmith not my personal choice. Thanks good luck

Key stuck in 2009 chevy hhr ignition help please

You may want to try pushing fordward harder into the park position while turning the key to the off position. The locking cable may need adjustment. If this does not work, try turning the collar just behind the keyswitch counter clockwise while trying to remove the key. Thanks, Dana

You'll have to contact your nearest GM dealership and have them Code new keys for the truck. Can be a little costly but its the only way. The keys and FOB's are VIN specific.
