Sand off some of the outside rotor step, you can

Can pull caliper to you, to compress the piston for
pad clearance

Can open bleeder to make it easier, have to bleed

SOURCE: How do you remove the rear door panel of the 2002

To not damage the plastic tabs that keep it flush against the door skin, pick up a tool like this:

You can get this at any autoparts store. Makes removing the panel easy!

Remove all screws and then pop the fastners all around the door panel. Remove slowly but use a little force to get it off...lifting up and clearing the door handle. Voila....it is off.

SOURCE: How do I remove the REAR door panel on my 2004

You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. If needed, you can pull back the weather seal (can't reuse it, but it's not that important) and you will be able to access everything inside the door

What tools do i need to remove rear brake pads on 95 cadillac deville?

You say pads, so I assume that you have rear disk brakes. The only special tool you will need is one to compress the rear calipers. Here is an image of the tool that is available at most all auto part stores.

Replace my front break pads. I know how to change the pads but I cant get the pad to release from the rotor

You need to use a (C) clamp to depress the caliper into its bore, only after opening the bleeder valve to exit the filthy fluid. Only then can you remove the caliper. You need to free the pressure against the rotor. Not being sarcastic here but if you know how to properly replace brake pads you should have known this.

Squeekking around back driver tire

Hello; The wear indicator on the brake pad may be contacting the rotor and making the noise. You need to remove the left rear wheel and look at the thickness of the brake pad. Thank you

How do you put front brake pads on cadillac sedan deville 1996

Front brakes on all modern cars are disc brakes. The front brakes generally provide 80% of the stopping power, and so tend to wear faster than the rear. Replacing them - pads, rotors and calipers - is quite simple once you understand the process, and can save you a great deal of money. These instructions will include a full front brake replacement. Also, having a service manual for your vehicle will save your sanity, as well as time and money. If you only need pads, or pads and rotors, but not calipers, skip the steps for replacing calipers. Repeat the steps below for each side of the car as necessary.

How do you replace brake light 1996 cadillac deville

Ok, get a t15 torx bit screw driver and remove the rear red light assembly by removing the outline plate that holds it in place.

Pull out the assembly rearward, and then determine which bulb is out by having someone operate the brake.

The sockets are generally removed from the back of the red lense by depressing a tab and rotating counterclockwise.

Remove the bulb, by turning and then pulling out the bulb.

Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.

How do I change my rear brakes on my 2000 Cadillac Seville STS?

you will need to remove the parking brake cable from the caliper then remove the lower slide pin bolt, flip the caliper up and pull out the old pads and install the new ones. You should get the rotors machined for the best braking performance or replace them.

Replacing rear brakes on 96 deville

quite an involved repair if unfamiliar. Include proper setting of park brake arm to get proper pedal height , or the pedal might go to the floor.. Also includes bleeding of the brake system, with a power bleeder.
