04 dodge durango slt. Every time it rains my car stalls and check engine light comes on. Went through car wash also and it died. I can wash myself and don't have this problem. Maybe under engine??.

Something is getting wet. Check the codes with a code scanner to see if you can isolate the problamatic area. The code/s may point you to what circuit is causing your trouble

I power washed my 89tercel engine when i tried to drive it .at 2400rpm it bauged down till it reacjed 2000rpm then ran agin tell it reached2400rpm agin can you help

Open your hood and let it sit in the sun. You probably need a new coil or ignition. Never ever do that again...high pressure can blow gaskets and destroy electric components. Once it drys it should run fine until it gets wet again...then you may be stranded in the rain. Look at your coil and ignition for swelling, cracks or other signs of damage or ware. If you don't see any, you can try using a spray bottle with water once its dry and spray specific areas to see if it affects running. Also check your plug wires, at night open your hood in the dark, look for sparks...look around coil also...

Drain plug

Check the rubber grommets on the firewall to make sure the are sealed. Lift the rug to make sure it is not rotted underneath, the seal on your windshield may not be good allowing water to get inside.

.with all the sensors and electronics made of plastic,if they are hot and you put water on them they can crack and get water in them. They might send the wrong message to your engine control module (computer)

When my 95 Lincoln is parked on the sightest grade (front facing down), water gets into the floor of the trunk. Gasket is still flexible. Underneath is also dry? Any ideas? Thanks

Had a similar situation in my service station wherein the gasket was flexible, however it was not affixed correctly....it was loose. We loosened it a little more in the suspect area, cleaned it and used gasket sealant (Part 8001 -Yellow comes to mind but there is a black one as well as others) to re-adhere it. Check to see exactly where the water is leaking in by parking it downhill and using a hose or such to wet it, while continually opening the trunk until you can determine where the water enters the gasket area. Also clean the channel immediately around the gasket to facilitate this process. Also, if need be, check to make sure that the water is not leaking in from the rear window mounting area. Check for even minute tears in the gasket as well. I'm not sure what you mean by "underneath is also dry" though.

AC blows warm air when it rains

It sounds as if you have an ambient temperature sensor that is either shorting out when it gets wet or either the water is acting like an insulator and sends an incorrect reading to the body control module. You may want to contact BMW to the specific location on your particular year and model. As location will vary with model and year.
