Question about 2004 Ford Freestar
I started having similar issues. The read out on the computer came back with gas too lean on bank one which is the the first sensor on your exhaust (oxygen sensor O2). I looked for broken hoses and I found one that was cracked I cleaned it with brake cleaner and a rag and used electrical tape to close the crack and stop the sucking of air. i then disconnected the ground terminal from the battery for about ten seconds (to reset the computer) and connected it back. I took a 315 mile trip and to my surprise it took one and one half quart of a tank of gas. Before I fixed the problem it was giving me one half of a tank plus half of another quater of a tank. I am going on 390 miles and it shows half a tank right now. I hope this will help you.

SOURCE: my 99 f350 runs down
A clogged fuel filter can do it and a vehicle in need of a tune up. A vacuum leak in the engine or airways could cause shaking. You could have a bad fuel injector. If it has been awhile since you have had a tuneup, I would get one done. If you have, maybe change the filter. May need to check all your fluids also.
