Question about Cars & Trucks
Went to put gas in my infiniti i35 2002 yesturday and gas started leaking out from under my car...then i repositioned the nozzle to point more to the left and didn't seem as bad. Dripped slower than when i had it in normal, or straight. Can someone PLEASE help me??? and is this something that is like super dangerous if i try to fix it myself??? Thank you to anyone who can give me any input!
Most vehicles have a seal where the filler tube connects to the fuel tank. Could be leaking here or it could be a something as small as a pin hole in the filler neck or tank. However fuel fumes are highly combustible. and something as simple as static discharge can start a major fire. In this case I would take it to a shop where they can put it on a lift and find the leak because of it's location.
