SOURCE: where is the oil filter on the 2009 Toyota corolla

I assume that you have a 1.8 engine. The oil filter is in a round metal housing under the engine; you have to remove the housing to access the cartridge type oil filter; the 1.8s do not have a "spin-on" filter.

How do i locate the power steering reservoir in the toyota corrola 2009

If the Power Steering Reservoir is not on the pump,
it will be within a foot of it, on all vehicles

Assuming you know where the oil goes in the engines
valve cover & the brake fluid by the drivers side firewall,
that only leave the windshield fluid & that is pretty obvious
& marked,as well as you can see into the container & most
fluid is light blue color

So that leave the Steering

All pumps are driven by a belt & all belts are on the
front of the engine

So either side of the front of the engine is what you looking for

Maybe down low, but you should be able to reach it.

Should have some marking on the cap

Make sure you use the correct type for you car

The auto parts stores only have a generic fluid
Toyota & Honda need the correct fluids

NO FLUIDS need to be topped off
IF THEY DO -you have a leak to repair

Where is the power steering reservoir located on the 1990 Toyota Carolla?

Make sure that your vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is cool before you check fluid levels. Power steering fluid and other fluids read at different levels when warm instead of cool. Locate the power steering fluid reservoir. It is located under the hood of your Toyota Corolla on the passenger side next to the engine. The reservoir is connected to the power steering pump. Remove the cap and use the dipstick to check the fluid level. For the most accurate reading, clean off the dipstick with a rag first, then re-insert and remove for the fresh reading. Add automatic transmission fluid or power steering fluid approved for use in Toyota vehicles if the fluid is below the low level mark. Add fluid gradually to keep for over filling the reservoir.
this will help.thanks.

2009 Corolla steering problem

I had this "problem" but there wasn't anything wrong with the car - it was just my driving...
The steering is just sensitive and "sporty" - try driving with a much lighter hand - even one hand, lower on the wheel. I now find the steering great and its actually very responsive.
It took 3 visits to Toyota before someone finally explained this to me but it works. People kept explaining that it "drives like a Corolla" but couldn't tell me how to drive it better.
Mind you the car is still horrible on windy days but I don't have same issues in normal highway driving.
A year ago I was actually renting cars for road trips instead of driving my 09 Corolla S I was that freaked out about the steering but I'm now completely comfortable driving the car. I do have to warn everyone that drives my car on the highway though...they never believe me at first but always concede that I'm right and that a light hand makes a huge difference.
