Powertrain Control Module Internal Communication Error (PO606)

This may be beyond even the best tech

You have a failure mode, that may be in the gas pedal (apps) but they seldom fail, next the (etb) electronic throttle body, there I see parts going on that won't be the issue, then you have a bad (pcm) that's not a high failure item either & would have to be programed

I have had somewhat similar issues on my Lincoln Ls & they are not
easy to diagnose, as almost any spike to the pcm sends you to a place that no reference material from ford provides

I would be 100% sure that you have no bad ignition coils
& you most likely will not have any luck with any codes or find
anyone that will touch that problem but a dealer & then I don't see
happy results,just a big bill

I would like to help, but can't come over from the internet,
so tell me how it ends up, I like the ford challanges that
make little sense or are any in manual

Could an1 help me get the code for my focus my battery went flat number m

you have to pull out the radio and write down the serial number that's on a sticker or stamped on the back side or top of the radio. then call the ford dealership and give them the serial # and if they're not jerks they should give you the code, if one dealer wont give it to you, call around to another ford dealer

2003 Lincoln LS hot air while stopped cold while driving

Hello
Based on what you have said and my 30 years a Ford dealer tech I believe you have a slightly low AC system refrigerant charge due to a small leak at the AC compressor or the AC line connections. I would have a shop hook up a set of gauges to monitor the pressures at idle and see just how low it is. DO NOT ADD UNTIL YOU KNOW HOW MUCH IS NEEDED, YOU CAN LOCK UP THE COMPRESSOR.

WHERE CAN I FIND THE DOOR KEY CODE?

The universal lock number for ALL Lincolns, and Fords is...press 8 then 9...:) The factory 4 digit code to unlock the door pad is located in the trunk under the lid...sometimes hard to find...You can get free help with this from your local Lincoln/Ford dealer's service manager...they sometimes hace to call the Ford national contact number to secure the factory 4 digit code for your specific Lincoln. There are other uses of the key pad too. Be sure to be persistent with the dealer or national hot line...they can help:) Hope this helps.

My theft lite keeps blinking and my truck wont start, how do i fix the problem

If you just changed or disconnected the battery....

You can't reset it yourself. It takes a scanner at your Local Dealership to do it. People do it, (new battery) everyday unaware that doing so can and usually does, arm the theft system and either kills the radio or the whole car. To me it's just another built-in defect that requires dealer assistance. It's a buzz kill I know, and it probably won't be long until car owners won't even have access to the engine compartment. They will need your VIN, and then they call HQ to get the code for your radio / Vehicle.

I have a 1999 ford expedition and my ac is not cold! I checked fuses and they all seem fine. The ac is blowing but its not cold! How can I tell if its the compressor? Could it just be the a/c clutch...

Hi Kaseyloe, I think that the first thing you should have inspected is the AC gas pressure. If its leaked out, the unit won't run. The clutch of the compressor won't activate. Best take it to a refrigeration company and have them check it for you.

How to make an offer on a new car? How much of a percentage off of the sticker price? Ford lincoln mix 2011. Hate the dog and pony show of back and forth between salesman and manager. Takes the fun out...

I would tell the dealer what your want to pay and
leave it at that

Don't go back, call once to see if they have any interest
in your offer

I pay cash, so that puts me in a better position

Offer 10% below MFG Sticker Price
They won't accept that ,but hold firm or buy a
used vehicle. 2 years old, less than 30,000 &
not from a dealer.

Once the warrantee is up.never go back
Lincoln can't fix the COP Ignition coils anyway

Odd, as I can for $59.00 for a coil

Do not get a Navigator,if you must get the Ford Version

The most fun is looking ,not the dog & pony part

AC blowinghot air

Locate wires coming from compressor clutch and trace to nearest plug that you can unplug. Turn on A/C to max cooling. If clutch not engaged (center of compressor drive pulley not spinning with pulley), unplug compressor clutch wires and use multimeter to check voltage going to compressor clutch. If voltage is around 12 volts or more, then clutch should be engaged when plugged in. Plug clutch wires back in (with motor still running and ac set to max). If clutch still not engaged, then clutch definitely bad because 12V signal should engage it.
