Question about 2003 Dodge Caravan

2003 dodge caravan idleing rough 150,000 miles

I changed the o2 sensor after getting a code on the computer. After replacing it the engine ran rough and gave a misfireing code. It was time for plugs and wires so I installed a new set of wires and set of bosch plat x 2 plugs. I continued to have the problem. I re traced my steps replacing the sensor and found that I had broken the pcv valve,I replaced it and the hose. the problem got better but the went south with a P0300
error code.I also noticed that when driving on the highway When I hit the passing gear with high rpm the rough idle went away for some time but came back. I don't know where to go next.

Get the engine codes checked. You may have a bad throttle position sensor, or idle speed sensor.

What are codes P0133 & P1134, for a 2005 Buick Lacrosse 3.8L V6 with 94,000 miles.

i have replaced an O2 sensor and had similar failure after 1500 miles.
I removed it, chkd it, reinstalled it and it ran fine.
P0133 is related to slow response of O2 sensor. P1134 is mfg specific so google that for ur car.

I replaced head gaskets on 2004 dodge dakota. when started it ran rough and lacked acceleration. Code P0300 and o2 sensors showed. replaced all 4 O2 sensors, but still rough idle and code P0300

That's Random or multiple missfire code. Have you checked for proper fuel pressure? Improper fuel pressure will trigger this code if it's too low, thus causing a lean mixture in multiple cylinders.

Already replaced o2 sensor 2 times which means im getting ready to install 4th o2 sensor and cant figure out whats causing o2 sensor to fail. car is idleing rough but not stallin yet. please help

What is your Trouble code? O2 sensors just don't go bad, unless you are buying cheap parts. Need to find out why its idling rough. if there are no codes have a repair shop review the scan data and see why its running rough.

Check engine comes on in my 03' dodge caravn with about 80,000 miles. it has had regular oil changes, though it's been roughly 30,000 miles since i've changed the air filter.

Check engine light means, that your computer pick up a bad signal from one of your engine sensor's, go to autozone or most auto parts, where they can do a computer code reading for free, then get back with us so we can help you with your trouble code.

2003 dodge ram 5.7L intermittently has a rough idle and an idle rpm of 500 I think the normal is 650. When I put it in gear the idle picks up and smooths out. Sometimes it will do this in gear and stall...

okay, the o2 code can cause problems, theres a problem with one of the o2 sensors, theres 2 or 4 sensors, the repair was not done right or theres another bad o2 sensor, next thing i would check is the idle air control motor, this sounds like it sticks at time or just stops working, start with these things first,

2003 Dodge Neon Code P0551 and Rough Idle

This is either the sensor or an open/shorted circuit leading to the sensor, you need to use a dvom to check it or replace the sensor and atleast eliminate that fault
