i'm not sure that you have "air " shocks or struts , follow this link to an automotive parts site , put in your vehicle details and it will show exactly the type of suspension components you require Replacement Parts Car Parts and Truck Parts
I had just the same problems with my 93- Park Avenue. The mecanic man found leaks on the supply hoses from the compressor and repleced the hoses. Easy job. I have resently replaced my struts and that helpt even more.
I don't know of one. The struts are Monroe 171798, and you can go to gmpartsdirect.com for the sensor and compressor. The air tubes may be hard to find, save yours or go to a junk yard.
check to see if the sensor link/arm as still attatched in the rear of the car. it has a little plastic ball end on each end and the ball can rust and fall off so the pump stays running. you can unplug the compressor to stop the dead battery condition for now. there is some diagnosis involved in repairing it though.
Does the pump run a lot? My pump on my '91 ran all the time so I checked my rear struts and they were bad. Had them changed and the pump doesnt run so much now.
Where can you find the air struts and the air pump?
Salvage yard? What about the non-air struts......where do I find them?
I had a mechanic to tell me they were no longer available.
Surely this is NOT true. I feel that he didn't want to fool with it.
