SOURCE: My windshield washer pump works, but no fluid on

Try to have someone stand outside the car as you try the washer, to see if it's leaking out ,you may have a cracked washer hose.if that's not it ,try sticking a pin in the eye where the fluid is supposed to come out ,sometimes they get clogged.

In my 2007 Saturn Vue there is what I think is an air pump which is cracked that one port is not connected to anything.

There is a electric motor that pumps washer fluid . Located in the bottom of the washer fluid tank .
Wash Operation (Front and Rear Wipers)
The front and rear washer systems use the same windshield washer fluid pump. When either the front or rear wiper is in the washer position voltage will be supplied to one side of the windshield washer fluid pump (depending on whether it is front or rear), while the other side of the pump is grounded.
At this point, the windshield washer fluid pump sprays solvent onto the windshield. When the front or rear washer is activated, the BCM receives an input from the switch that is activated. The BCM will control the wipers while in the WASH mode. The BCM will control either the front wiper relay or the rear wiper relay to turn on the wipers. The windshield wipers operate at low speed for 3 swipes and returns to the park position.

When turning on the washers do you hear the motor run ? Have some one try it while you listen at the washer fluid tank ! These pump motors do go bad .
turn OFF the ignition.
Disconnect the harness electrical connector of the windshield washer fluid pump.
Connect a test lamp from the windshield washer pump control circuit to a good ground .
Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
Press the front washer switch.
Does the test lamp illuminate?
YES or NO !

How do you drain/flush the windshield washer fluid tank?

The best and easyest way is to take it out and wash it out with vinagar and hot water. There should only be three bolts holding it in so it is very easy to remove.

Windshield wiper fluid runs straight out of the reservoir. How do I fix this issue by myself?

Find out where its leaking from. A broken hose or a cracked tank. Find the leak and fix the leak. Have someone spray the washers as you look for the leak. Should be easy to spot and then repair....If it a cracked and leaking tank ....replace the tank???

Check washer motor grommet/seal for leak, or rubber hose connection to sprayers at tank, or tank crack.

1998 pontiac grand prix will not spray windshield washer fluid

This is most likely the washer pump. I just replaced mine today. It is located on the right side, in front of the wheel, behind the wheel well cover. you will need a phillips screwdriver to remove the srews that hold the wheel well in place. Just remove the ones to the front of the tire and under the bumper skirt. This will give you just enough room to access the pump. The pump is attached to the fuild tank. Disconnect the electrical from the pump. Drain any fluid into anothe jug - as when you remove the pump fluid will leak out. You may need a small screwdiver to gently pry between the pump and the tank to release the upper hold on the pump, then rotate and pull the pump out of the tank. Its held in by a rubber type grommet. Reverse the steps to reinstall. Hope this helps. Good Luck!

Windshield washer reservoir tank is leaking how do I replace?

You must remove from it's mount and empty out any fluids that is in tank.fill the tank with water and locate where the leak is coming from. wash tank a few times and the let dry upside down. Get some sand paper (80  grit course) and sand area where leak is, clean area with a vacume or clean can buy a 2 stage epoxy that comes in an injection form and squeeze it out on a pc of paper and then get a q-tip and mix the 2 components together, fill the crack or hole generously with the q-tip, if you have to,let dry for 24 hours and mix more and put more on. let dry another 24 hours, replace tank back in it's place and you've solved your leak. (epoxy does wonders if its used properly.
