Hi, you don't say how many miles are on this truck, but I am going to assume you have at least 100,000 on it.Depending on how the truck has been treat over it's life I would start with removing the spark plugs and seeing if they're oil soaked or black. If they are then I would start to look at piston rings, which usually means a rebuild. You can have the valve guides checked also, oil may be leaking past them and dropping onto your pistons.

SOURCE: where is the AC low pressure port on a 2004 Dodge 2500?

I would think you found the low pressure port by now? But just in case most Dodge trucks I have seen have the low pressure port just above the compressor on the suction line. Of coarse leave it to Dodge to move it on some applications? Good Luck !

SOURCE: 2001 dodge 2500 diesel oil leak in front of power

The power steering pump is piggie backed to the vacuum pump. The seal in the back of the vacuum pump has engin oil under presure behind it cousing a leak that gets worse over time. Cummins make a seal kit to fix this leak.

We just changed the spark plugs , oil and air filter in my 2004 dodge ram 2500 hemi and now it wont stay started unless you keep your foot on the gas

Make sure that all the hoses are connected properly. If the intake has any leaks between the throttle body and the air filter housing the computer will not see air entering the engine and you will have this problem.

If the valve lifters are quiet you most likely have oil pressure even with gauge showing "0".Sounds like the oil pressure switch going bad.I would try that first.

Sounds like a coil problem, I don't know how the ignition systems work in the hemi's but your coil could be overheating.
