Question about 2001 Hyundai Tiburon
Was told fuel pump was going when i heard noise coming from gas tank, at the time my fuel gauge was working just fine, i replaced the fuel pump and now the gauge only reads just below 3/4 tank when tank is completly full, was told it is probable the sending unit, which wasn't replaced with the fuel pump, but it was working just fine before they replaced the pump what can i do?
Sending units get knocked out of calibration when they change the pump.(carelessly).if you can.. check the top of the tank, to see if they plugged it in firmly. if not, raise heck till the change it. (doubt they will). other than the wires, not much you can do, without dropping the tank.
