Im having a prob with my gear shifter, it wont move into any location, reverse or drive, the only way the shifter will move is if I put a screw driver in the unlock shifter hole then it will move, any suggestions ....thanks
Hi, I know this may sound saft but are you keeping your foot on the brake whilst trying to engage gears?
If you are then maybe a inhibitor switch problem.
Please Don't press the unacceptable button on me as I'm only giving suggestions.

My gear shifter on my 1998 Grand Prix also will not move unless i place a screw driver in the shift lock release slot.
