You need to get an ODB2 analyzer and read the codes in the main computer of the engine. Those codes will help you get the correct parts to improve the performance of your Jag.

SOURCE: restricted performance under load

I had the same problem on my 1998 XJ8. My dealer told me it was the Mass Airflow Meter, which needed replacing to the tune of around $500. After a second opinion at my local Jag mechanic, it turned out to be a hose that was broken on the lower part of the front of the engine. Check the vacuum hoses for breaks or loose fittings.

SOURCE: Is it safe to drive my car

Restricted performace means the power has been cut for some reason, its probably safe to drive but needs to be serviced. Check your manual for possible causes of the light being on to determine your next course of action..

SOURCE: jaguar s-type restricted performance

I had the same problem. Restricted performance and running rough at 3000 RPM. I have an OBDII code reader and found that the problem was in the air mass flow sensor, which is just after the air filter. I pulled this out and found it was dirty and had butterfly wings in it. The last shop where I had the oil changed replaced the filter for me but put in the wrong size. Close but no cigar. Bought some *** Flow Sensor cleaner at auto store and fixed the problem. Get an OBDII reader with the ability to erase the codes. Comes in real handy.

SOURCE: s type jag 2003 abs warning light on dash board is

Check your brake fluid level first. If it is fine then you probably have a bad abs brake sensor.

You need to go and have any fault codes diagnosed. The jag dealership is probably the best option.

The symptoms you describe could be attributed to a faulty oxygen sensor or blocked catalytic converter

Where is the starter on a Jag 2003 s type v8

Starter doesn't have anything to do with those faults. Most the Jags we get are valve body problems. Codes help.

I have a 2004 Jag s type w/ 45k miles. Last night I got all the system lights and "transmission fault, parkbrake fault and dsc not available." Got home, turned it off, restarted after 1 minute, restarted...

First thing to do is get the battery checked and replaced if necessary. If the problem continues, it will be necessary to have a pro-shop check the fault codes (go to a Jag specialst, not a dealer)

My Jag s type is giving me a reading that says RESTRICTED PERFORMANCE and it bogs and sputters at 2.5 - 3 RPM. What the heck is going on?

Ignition coils can cause these problems, and a code scanner can tell you which one or more that are bad. If there are more than one that's bad its cheaper to buy a set.
