Try turnning steering wheel back and forth while turnning key.Sometimes they get in a bind if wheel is turnned against the lock.If this don't work,it could be in the steering collum or at engnition switch.

MY KEY WONT TURN ONCES ITS IN THE IGNITON

try turning the steering wheel and key at the same time or look on the steering wheel collume for a button to push or push the and turn the key. it kinda seems like the lock is stuck or worn out witch means that the ignition switch should be replaced.

The switch will not turn far enough to engage the starter and it is difficult to get the key out of the switch.

Hi..my name is Keith..and it sounds like the pins in the key lock are bent...and the key lock will need to be replaced..but to do that you have to take the steering wheel off and take the steering collum apart..but i would try to squirt WD-40..with the little straw..inside of where the key fits..also..if you have a collum shift automatic transmission..the shifter gets worn and you have to pull the handle up with ya left hand to start the car and to get the key out..so..i hope my suggestions will help..if not please write back

Wont start wheni turn the key but if i cross over the starter it will start then die plus when i turn the key the relays click

With key on,  cross over the starter again and if it stays running you have a bad ignition switch it is located top of steering collum.

Ignition

i just had that same prob with mine. My Solution: NEW steering collum / key switch
what was happening was the key would get stuck in the igniton and i had to give it a little tap to get it to relese from the igniton. well, by giving it those taps, it popped a little plastic lever in the collum for the igniton switch. then the car would turn on with the key, but not turn off, i had to do the same thing that you had to do to to turn it off/on.

A steering collum later, and it was fixed
