I need a low beam headlight for my 2007 Kia Optima. I was told that there were 2 and that I needed to know when my car was made. Is this true and how do I find that out? Thank you~~confused

Usually inside the driverside door jam there is a sticker that shows the vehicles production date as well as vehicle identification number and the vehicles gvrw. What they may be looking for is production date. As an example it may read 09-06 which means it was assembled in Sept of 2006.Hope this helps.

Will a 96 transmission work in a 95 jeep cherokee

From my research, I believe you can. I would get the tag number, production date of the vehicle and engine size. You can check on car-part.com, they will give you a list of salvage yards that will have the transmission you would need. They break everything down to the production date, engine size 4X4 or 4X2, and year.

I want to know whether the corola 96 has two models or not because now i bought one corola 96 and some says it made in 97. on the other hand when I check car belt it is 96 and when I check on the car door...

Toyota did not make 'two' models of Corolla.

The production date determine what year the car is, With a build date of X / 97, that makes your car a 1997 model. On some of the Corollas, however, mid-year production changes dictate that you supply the build date to obtain certain parts, as they may have been updated during the production run.

There are 2 different sizes of bushings for this particular year 1968, need to know when they switched from the 1 7/8 to the 1 1/2 diameter bushing? is it by vin # or production date?

Changes are almost always done by production date.Sometimes it is expressed as a date and sometimes they use a serial number or VIN number. The production date is your safest bet.
