If you have ABS, it is most likely the ABS sensor located in the rear-end. there is also a proportioning valve there also. sensor gets metal fragments stuck to it. pull it clean it, see if that helps.

I had the same problem with my 2001 Durango. Turns out the parking brake pedal did not return all the way up. One pull up of the pedal and the light is off.

It'll pay to have the crank sensor checked. They're known for heating up and stalling the car when they're no longer any good. Usually once it has cooled down the car will start but as soon as the sensor gets hot it'll stall again

What would cause low voltage, heater fan stops working ,4wd light stays on ,park brake light stays on, doesn't seem to be charging ??

That is not a valid test any more , you could cause a voltage spike an short out one of the electronic control modules taking the battery cable off while the vehicle is running ! http://www.troubleshooters.com/dont_disconnect_battery.htm

Brake light keeps coming on

have the brake fluid level checked in the master cylinder reservoir, low fluid level will cause the light to come on and then go off at ramdom

Just bought second hand 98 chevy lumina and someone stopped me saying I have no brake lights, so I checked and I only see a place for backup lights and turn signal lights. Why do I not have any break...

The brake light in the rear window and the main brake lights are on a different circuit. After the signal leaves the activating switch on the brake pedal arm, it splits. One circuit goes straight to the high mount brake light, the other goes into the turn signal switch. If the rear turn signals work but the brake lights don't, suspect the turn signal switch, not the bulbs and wires. Better to check this before removing and checking bulbs, wires and fuses. It is a common problem with the W-body cars like Lumina, Monte Carlo, Buick Regal, Olds Cutlass and Pontiac Grand Prix. (Approx 94-99 models). Part number is GM 190005031 (w/o radio accessory control) or 19005032 (with radio controls)

Brake valve leaking on front left side inside engine compartment in a 1994 Olds delta 88. Brake warning light

are you talking about the brake master cylinder, leaking fluid down the fire wall in front of the drivers position? if so ,it is probably running down the inside under the carpet as well.. no matter where its from brake leaks need fixing straight away. it is probably the brake master cyl. that is leaking and it is not a big job to replace it "YOUDOIT"

2003 Nissan Sentra Brake lights stay on

When you depress the brake pedal, the brake pedal will move away from the brake light switch and cause a close circuit and the brake lamps light up. There is a rubber bunk on the pedal which pushes against the brake light switch to shut it off when you release the brake pedal. Most likely this rubber bunk has either fallen off or disintegrated leaving a hole in the brake pedal so there is nothing to push against the switch to shut it off. Look up the brake pedal until you see the brake light switch, then depress the brake pedal to see if the rubber bunk is still there. It is easy to replace. Or you can use some double sided adhesive tape and a coin and stick the coin over the hole in the brake pedal.
