Question about 2004 Chevrolet Malibu
I recently bought a 2004 Chevy Malibu and it has started with no problems for 2 weeks then yesterday it wouldn't start it turned over acted like it was going to start or started briefly then died. After several attempts to start it I gave it gas while I it was turning over and it started just fine. I have driven it several times today and no problems. What could be causing this?

there are two components that you should be looking at one is called a throttle position sensor and the other is a idle air control motor/valve.these two will make the car hard star or not start at all.the are both located in the general area of the intake manifold right where the throttle cable connects.

Cheak your fuse under the drivers side under the hood. Look in your manuel for fuel fuse. It looks like a little black box.
