96 toyota camry. Replaced fuel pump, strainer and filter. Will crank if you spray starting fluid in it, but wont run. Any ideas?

Check for spark. Start at the coil, spark at the plug, Could be the coil or crank position sensor. Check codes.

My 2001 Hyundai sonata died while driving and will not start turns over cranks but wont start fuel pump? crank shaft position sensor ? where is the location of fuel shut off value help

no inertia switch or fuel switch--fuses or relays ---to test the fuel pump easiest is to spray starter fluid if it fires you have a fuel problem if doesn't fire look into ignition [ spark]

My 97 toyota camry cranks but doesn't start.

If you have low compression you have only a few things that cause that. 1. you have a blown head gasket. 2. you have a cracked head. 3. your piston rings are shot. With a no start condition I can almost garuntee you have either number 1. or 2. If you wanna check the crank sensor, have someone spin the motor while you pull off a spark plug boot. If you hear/see it firing then the crank sensor is good. Crank sensors either work or they dont. If the crank sensor is bad, you will lose fuel and fire.

2001 jag stye turns over but won't start what could be the problem?

It could be as simple as a bad fuel pump or clogged fuel filter to something more in depth like a broken timing chain or bad sensors. Check the Fuses first to make sure they are all good then check the relays under the hood. If the fuses are good and the relays then spray some starting fluid into the air intake, If it fires then the problem is a fuel pump or filter if it doesn't you are going to have to test the Crank and cam position sensors to find the bad on and the coil pack.

Car started not startin well if was left 4 a few day s will start and miss fire then run good now she won't start at all not even fire were do i start ?

you need to sort out if fuel or spaark issue. Can you hear fuel pump in gas tank run for 5 seconds when you turn the key to ON? Spray a burst of starting fluid into the throttle body or bgi air intake hose and see if it starts for a few seconds. If yes, then you have a fuel issue, maybe need a pump. Need to drop the tank to do that though. Check for 40 psi of pressure first.

If not, then it could be no spark. bad crank sensor, cam sensor, etc.

Is the yellow check engine light on too? If yes, get codes to find cause.

Will not start just replaced fuel pump and crank sensor just cranks is geting fire

check fuel pump relay and or fuel pump pressure.
If you can take some starting fluid and spray some into the breather and it starts then look at fuel pump and or fuel pressure and or relay.

Engine turns over, gets spark to plugs, no start up

Spray some starting fluid into the air cleaner if it starts then dies it is a fuel delivery issue ( bad fuel pump or the inertia switch has been tripped and must be reset) if it doesn't start it may be a crank sensor gone bad.

I have a 1999 Gmc Jimmy and it wont start. It turns over you spray some starting fluid stuff in it and it fires up but then dies. We changed the throttle body sensor the crank sensor. Can anyone tell us...

Sounds like a bad fuel pump. If you turn the key on and don't hear it run, it is the most likely cause. You may be able to smack the tank and get it working again, but will need to be replaced. If not, look for power and ground at the pump connector when key is on.
