You can use ATF SPIII /Dextron III. Make sure you go for a good drive around corners and if you can do some hard 360degrees on both side to make the oil circulate in the rear diff then you check the oil again to level up.

How much oil do I put in my car 19 00 cc

1. Turn off engine ,
2. Take of oil cap on engine
3. Put in a little oil in oil filler hole of engine.
4. then pull out the oil dip stick from engine
5. and clean the dip stick on a rag.
6. Put dip stick back in engine
7. pull out again and check the level showing on the dip Stick
8. If level is too low on dip stick and is not at full level go back to step 1

These steps ensures you avoid over filling the engine with oil

Tip for beginners
The 4 litre oil bottle is way too much oil for an engine to handle.
If you have a full 4 litre oil plastic bottle square shape . hold the bottle on its side to pour the oil out slowly and smoothly.

Oil capacity

for the 2008 mazda 3 (2004-2008 generation 2.0 to 2.3L)

http://mazda3revolution.com/how-to-guides/how-to-change-oil-mazda-3-23-20/

that link uses 4.25 quarts, to allow some fluid to fill the oil filter
usually, with a canister filter, i pour some inside as well as lubricate the oil ring before spinning it on ~ that way the paper element has been "pre-charged" pre-soaked with oil before you start it up for the first time
if you have the other style filter where the oil filter is just the paper element, i'd make sure to properly torque that cap to specs & not over-tighten it ~ it's made of plastic!

http://www.mazdausa.com/MusaWeb/pdf/manuals/2008_Mazda3_OM.pdf

your owners manual only states the amount of oil needed between the minimum line to the maximum line on the dipstick when just checking the fluid level

page 8-20 says ~ .8 quart when it's low to fill it up to the max ~ line

another site states ~4.5 quarts

as long as it's in between the 2 stated capacities, and you re-check the fluid level, you're good to go ~ just dont put the full 5 quarts in it!

Oil pressure gauge not working and it has low oil level some please explain this to me

A low oil level will cause the gauge not to work or read "low" because the sensor is designed to read pressure of the oil as it travels through the engine. Are you getting a message displayed as well ? I would start by making sure the oil is clean and at the proper level on the dipstick. If the oil level is low make sure you first fill it to the proper level then look for a leak. If the oil level is okay then it is possible the oil pressure sender could be bad. Good luck ?

Oil light goes on and off

This happens when your oil level is low. Check oil on level surface then add as needed. Be sure not to over fill , over filling is harder/ worse than being a little low. Over full on oil puts much more pressure on seals etc.

What is the fluid level in the brake canister. I am unable to find a full level line on the canister and it is about one half full.

3/4 to 7/8" is where you should be. now a low level can indacte a few thing worn brake pads or a leak in the system. if your pedal doesn't fall or feel different then you may just need a brake job.

Two day ago i got the engine lite on the dash

The "check engine" light has NOTHING to do with oil or oil level. There is a problem with the fuel injection, transmission or emission system with your van. Youy will need a qualified repair shop check it out and recommend repairs.

Where is th low valve on the 2001 aurora 3.5

The anti freeze goes into the radiator, if the fluid level is really really low, otherwise it goes into the coolant expansion tank which is a black plastic tank on the passenger side of the vehicle, and will say engine coolant on it. You just pop the cap and fill to the line. Leave some room for the liquid to expand when it gets hot.
