SOURCE: where is the pcv valve located on a 2003 ford ranger

  • The PCV valve can be located in several places. The most common location is in a rubber grommet in the valve cover. It can be installed in the middle of the hose connections, as well as installed directly in the intake manifold.
  • Once the PCV valve is located, make sure all the PCV system hoses are properly connected and that they have no breaks or cracks.
  • Remove the air cleaner and inspect the air and crankcase filters. Crankcase blowby can clog these with oil. Clean or replace such filters.
  • Oil in the air cleaner assembly indicates that the PCV valve or hoses are plugged.
  • Make sure you check these and replace the valve and clean the hoses and air cleaner assembly.
  • When the PCV valve and hose are in satisfactory condition and there is oil in the air cleaner assembly, perform a cylinder compression test to check for worn cylinders and piston rings.

SOURCE: where is the ignition module control located on 1996 ranger 2.3 e

It does not have an ignition control module. The PCM (powertrain control module) fires the coil pack based on signal it recieves from the crankshaft position sensor and the camshaft position sensor.

Where is the fuel rail pressure sensor located in a 2006 Ford Explorer?

It depends on what engine you have, but typically it's located somewhere midways on the fuel rail. It will have a schrader valve that looks kinda like the valve on your tires.

PCV valve is on one of the valve covers...
It has a 1/2 to 5/8 inch rubber or plastic hose attached to it.
Usually on the top of the valve cover, and close to one end or the other.

2004 Ford Explorer 4.0 cranks but will not run - any advice?

Check for fuel getting to the injectors. You can do this by locating the fuel rail schrader valve and using a small screwdriver press the valve and see if fuel squirts out. It should be under pressure. Then check spark You will need a spark testor for that.

Where is the Schrader valve on a ford Explorer 1995 V6

I believe the schrader valve for checking your fuel pressure can be seen looking from the passenger side of the engine. It is on the fuel rail, which is installed between your lower and upper intake manifold sections, about the center of the fuel rail.

Hope helps (remember rated this) Good luck.
