My front axle is rubbing and tearing my boot why

Do you mean the tie rod end? Did you recently change your tires and/or wheels? Wheels can have different offsets, so choose carefully if you change them. I had problems with my track bar on mine. It was wrecked before though. Has yours suffered front end damage that you know of? Have someone watch underneath while to turn your wheels back and forth slowly. They should look for anything shifting or separating.

I have a 1993 Toyota Land Cruiser with front end damage. There was very little anti freeze in it but I was able to drive it off the tow truck to the driveway. Now it doesn't want to start.

Water is essential to the to the life of an engine and running it without water will cause internal damage. the length of time is of no importance as you have hot moving parts with no cooling . How long was it running with the front end damage as the damage could have been done then. Have a compression test done

Will a salvaged 99 escalade front end fit a 97 silverado without any customization??

yes it can, i had a 97 silverado with a 2000 escalade front end on it and it was air bagged. the front end will bolt right up to it as long as there is no damage to the front end if it is off a salvaged escalade. if you dont belive me email me and i will send you a picture of my truck. teddy32788@aol.com. the 88-98 chevy silverados will fit a 99-01 escalade front end. but the 02 escalade will not.
