Question about 1994 Volkswagen Jetta
Actaully sounds like someone pulled the battery. You need the code from the radio. If you don't have the dealer can get it but it will cost you about $50

I'm guessing you have a new radio, or at least a better one, my 99 a4 doesn't have this feature. My brothers radio does though, the radio needs a code entered for it to work, this is to prevent theft of the radio. You should have a card or something in your glove box or with your cars document that says 'security code'. Enter the code into the radio and it should go back to normal.
