There are many causes to be troubleshot one by one: ELECTRICAL= Loose battery connection, loose distributor wires, bad key switch, loose fuse for ignition,
GAS= Intermittent clog in fuel line, fuel pump connection loose, crack in vacuum system... And that's just for starters!! There are all kinds of sensors in your car...have a shop check out the "memory" module with their tester to read codes that should give some direction to go in to fix it!
