I'm unfamiliar with the term "slope" but since you have black smoke and low water I'm willing to bet you're dealing with a leakage of water into your cylinder and/or elsewhere. Do you see water shooting out of the tail pipe when you start it in the morning? If so you have a bad head gasket / crack in your cylinder wall or both. If you seen no water there check your oil to see if there is water in your oil, if none there then it could be an air idle mixture and a leaking radiator or water plug, (not likely but possible).

After engine shampoo, engine won't start on 2001 honda crv

You got ignition system wet, remove the distributor cap and check for water, i bet you will find it wet. you will need to dry it out even by using a hair dryer to dry it out, then try to start it. i would let it run for a while with hood open to allow moisture to flow out from under the hood to avoid other components from getting wet. let me know the out come good day.

How do i take off the radiator cap?

WHATEVER YOU DO NEVER TOUCH THE CAP OR ADD ANY FLUIDS TO THE VEHICLE WHILE THE CAR IS HOT,WHY? ITS DANGEROUS AND YOU WILL DAMAGE THE VEHICLE.

NOW ON A COLD ENGINE USE A SCREW DRIVER TO LIFT OFF THE LATCH ON THE CAP AND PRESS DOWN ONIT AND TURN IT COUNTER CLOCKWISE. ADD YOU COOLANT AND WATER MIXTURE OR WATER. PUT CAP BACK ON AND PREES DOWN AND TURN IT CLOCKWISE TO CLOSE.

I BELIEVE YOU HAVE A PLASTIC RECOVERY TANK ON THIS VEHICLE . YOU DON'T HAVE TO PUT COOLANT ON THREW RADIATOR YOU CAN JUST DO IT THREW THE RECOVERY TANK.

White smoke, water vapor at initial start-up. drives a few miles, smokes again. could it be a vacuum regulator? 2001 jaguar s-type

Water vapor coming out of the exhaust at initial start-up is normal; that is condensation that collects when the engine is not running. White smoke at start-up depends on a couple of things. Tell me, where do you live? When the weather is very cold, all engines will emit steam (white smoke) when they are first running; this stops after the engine has been running a while and is warm.

In short, if this is only happening at first start of the morning and goes away over time, there is nothing wrong.

If, however, the "white smoke" continues and never stops, you may have a blown head gasket.

Have your shop hook your car up to a obd2 machine,
and look at what temperature the engine temp switch is telling the computer it is,
if the switch is faulty it could read 75 degrees and that means the computer would lean the fuel mixture for a summer start.

If you're sure it's "smoke", then it's probably burning oil. But most likley it's water vapor. When an engine is first started and the air is cold, the water vapor in the exhaust will create visible steam. Automotible exhaust primarily consists of carbon dioxide and water vapor. If the engine and exhaust system are cold, the exhaust will be cooler when it comes out and it can create a cloud of water vapor.
However, if it's not water vapor, as I mentioned above, it could be oil smoke. If that's the case you need an engine rebuild since you probably have bad rings.

Water pump

Fill the radiator completely with coolant mixture. Let the engine warm up 10 to 15 mins. Is the upper radiator hose warm? If yes, then the water pump and thermostat are good. If all this works, then the leak is somewhere else. Hope this helps.
