L200 series read knocking noise

Sounds like a loose or broken brake shoe or brake drum. As the car is slowly moving, pull up on the emergency brake. Does the noise get worse? Better? Can you feel the clunk in the handle of the E brake? This is what it sounds like, but my second choice would be the wheel bearing getting bad. These cars are known for this. If you jacked the car up a bit and wiggled , tugged , and pulled on the wheel, you may find movement there. If so, it is the bearing. . I changed my bearing 3 weeks ago. l series, $51 for the bearing, and $40 to press it in. I took it off the car myself. Very easy to do. If you decide to go that route, I can walk you through it. Hope this is helpful, cheers from Nova Scotia!!

Trying to correct a problem with the steering, it is pulling right and the steering wheel is shaking from left to right and it is more noticeable when in low gear. Wheels have been aligned and balanced...

if pulls right when braking, then l/h brake is faulty, the ajustments on the steering arms not even so steering bob/rack is self centering so r/h ajustment is too tinht,,wheels shaking=wheel bent, out of balance, bearings in hub worn so wheel wobbles

2wd front wheel need to replace bearings or hub assembly which is best

A Front Wheel Drive Vehicle Can Have Two Types Of Rear Wheel Bearings: Serviceable Bearings, Or Nonserviceable, Sealed Bearings. When Sealed Bearings Fail, The Bolts Holding The Bearing And Hub To The Axel Or Control Arm Must Be Removed. When Installing The New Bearing Assembly, Torque The Bolts To Specifications. Some Manufacturers require The Use Of New Fasteners When Rear Bearings And Hubs Are Replaced.

When A Serviceable Wheel Bearing Is Used, The Bearing Can Be Disassembled And Packed With Grease. It Is Serviced Like A Front Wheel Bearing On A Rear-wheel-Drive-Car.

How do you adjust parking brake On A Kia Sedona

Underneath your vehicle, a steel threaded cable comes from the back of one hub and is joined by a short cable from the other hub--then the original cable runs to a threaded end with an adjuster nut in it--and one smaller nut on the end outside of that--(this is the equalizer bar)--you'll see it real close to your transmission.
You might have to jack-up the back of the vehicle???
Pull the parking brake lever up sharply and then release it.
Pull the parking brake lever to the second click and leave it there. You're looking for a slight drag of the brake shoes when you spin the wheels.
To increase the drag, get under at the equalizer bar and turn the adjusting nut to take up the slack in the cables. Get out and spin the rear wheels if you think it's to tight.
I will say don't be afraid to crank on it for a while as in this case, a little adjustment really does not go a long way. When you think you have the drag right, go back in the car and pull the brake up the the fourth click. At this point the wheels should be locked and you should not be able to turn them even when trying hard. If you can, tighten them up a little more.
Once you've done this, release the brake and make sure the wheels spin freely. If they are still binding due to the parking brake, back off the adjustment a little. And that's basically the whole adjustment procedure.

How to change a rear wheel bearing on a 1994 toyota camry

The rear wheel bearing on a toyota camry is replaced by replacing the wheel bearing and hub as a unit. this is a design change as compare to older models with two piece wheel bearings. Scotch drive wheels. Remove rear wheel. Remove rear brake drum. (note: if emergency brakes are applied you will not be able to remove brake drum) Remove dust cap and hub retaining nut. Hub should slide off as unit. Replace hub with new unit. Installation is reverse of removal.
