You've posted this under different model and years, if the truck is a 1990 model it is fuel injected so does not have a carb and the fuel pump is in the gas tank.

Where is the fuel pump REALLY located on a 2001 Silverado???

It is inside the fuel tank, it is actually easier to remove the bed than to drop the tank to change it.

Fuel Pump location

it is an electronic fuel pump module and it is located in the fuel tank. It is pretty simple to check for fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge. There will be a test port on the fuel rail.

If there is no pressure than check for power to the pump as close to the pump as you can and with the pump plugged in. Also check to make sure the fuel pump has good ground. The larger grey wire should be the power wire to the pump. Black is ground.

I need Hyundai Santa Fe fuel bomb filter model 2007 25pic

The filter is attached to the 'in-tank' fuel pump. It's a 'sock' located at the bottom of the pump inside the fuel tank. It is not serviceable. The sock (filter) is not available separately, it's only available with the fuel pump assembly.

Was told to check the fuel pump relay on my 89 ford f250 pu but i dont know where the relay would be

Most fuel-pump relay units are located under the dashboard near the steering column. In some cases, the unit is located in the area where the steering column is mounted or near the engine's firewall. The end of the fuel pump relay is typically located near the center of the floorboard, under the carpet in the front section of the passenger's or driver's side footwell. In most cases it is located next to the cars fuse's

I think that the fuel pump is not working, i am not getting gas to the engine, the fuses is good and the relays is also good. and where is the fuel pump located on this car,and how to replace the pump....

Hi John. The fuel pump is located inside of the fuel tank. You can try taking a rubber mallet and hitting the tank while someone tries to start it. Sometimes they get silt in them (it's 15 yrs old) and it's stopped working. The car may start while trying it and it'll give you a good indication as to if it is a pump problem.

Where is fuel pump relay is location on Ford expedition 2001 4.6

It is located in the relay and Maxi fuse box under the hood near the battery, both the fuel pump fuse and relay are in this box, the fuel pump fuse is a 20Amp and is marked #10, the fuel pump relay is is marked as relay #301.

There is also a fuel pump cutoff switch (triggered by an accident exceeding 3 G's)

The fuel pump shut-off switch is

located in the passenger's foot well,
by the kick panel.

the fuel sending unit's located on the side of your fuel pump, located inside the fuel tank, you did'nt specify what year, make, moel,or engine size.but the odds are that it's an 80's model or above. if so,then this is you. you can purchase a used fuel pump at a used parts place that will have the sending unit you need. but the question remains? is the used one good. rarely do they go bad,but they do would do well to purchase a new fuel pump, which the fuel sending unit will be new also. just to be sure.but,if your mechanically inclined and can drop the fuel tank yourself, then you may come out cheaper bu purchasing a used fuel pump.there is no fuse for the fuel guage.there is a fuse for the fuel pump, and also a fuel pump relay, but odds are you're fuel pump works or wlse the engine would'nt start.the issue is the fuel level, right? replace the fuel pump, either new,or used and this should repair the issue. the fuel tank will have to be removed to replace the pump, most garages charge according to how much fuels in the tank. a full tank of gas is super heavy,a low tank is light and easily dealt with under the car.suggest you shop around 1st for pricing.thank you very much for choosing and good luck in your repairs!!

Where is fuel system fuses in a 2001 lincoln ls

There are several different loctions as far as the fuel system is concerned. If you're not getting any fuel pressure at all I would first check the fuel cut off switch. It's just a button that can pop up and you just push it down. if it's popped you will hear and feel when you push it down. that switch is located in the vehicle (see picture below). The next place's I would look would be the fuel pump fuse (which you asked for) and that is located in the power distibution box located in the trunk of the vehicle (see other picture below). That fuse is a 15 amp fuse and is in the number 17 position (see next picture below for layout of fuses). Then there is the fuel pump relay located in the the same panel and that is located in the relay 007 position. Also in that same box is a diode for the fuel pump motor which is located in the diode02 position. I hope this helps you and good luck.
