Question about Cars & Trucks
My car was hit on driver side rear end and car completely shut down
My first thought is the inertia switch in the trunk, but that is only for the fuel pump.
If you have no electrical power, something happened with the wiring under the hood.

SOURCE: 93 mustang car door doesn't
Sounds like the door may be out of adjustment. Check first that there nothing is getting in the way of the door closing area such as the seat belt, and that the door seals are in the correct position. If all checks ok there, Then the door striker witch located at the "B" pillar ( body area direct behind door ) needs adjustment. I recommend finding someone with experience doing this as it will require the use of a impact driver to loosen the adjuster But if you have access to this tool then MARKING where the adjuster is before adjustment is a good idea as a starting point of reference. The adjuster need only be slightly loosened to adjust and will move not only in and out but up and down. good luck and have a happy holiday season Kam

this may sound stupid but its only a temporary fix. take the panel off the door and tap the window motor with a small hammer. do all the other windows work? does it make any sound when you hit the button? you probably end up having to replace the window motor.

it is in the trunk on the side, usually driver side. Behind a piece of side panel. Just push the button to rest. Owner manual shows pic.

Wil it work at the door switch or not at either switch? If not make sure you have power and ground to the motor in up and down positions. if so suspect the motor. Also the cable operated regulators break and will not let the window go up or down
