There is no carburetor on your truck, it is fuel injected.
However, where to spray starter fluid is:
You have a air breather tube going from the top of the middle of the engine to somewhere. It is black plastic, and is usually several inches in diameter.
If you start at the top center of the motor, it will usually have a black plastic box near the front of the truck, by the radiator, that contains a pleated paper air filter.
If you will find that, take the cover off the air filter, it usually has some snaps or screws to do that, as you are supposed to replace it periodically.
Find out where the air comes from to go into that air filter housing. Often it is from a hole near the right or left headlight, along side the headlight.; That will be the place you spray starter fluid if you have a friend cranking the engine.
If you are doing this by yourself, I would take the air cleaner cover off and spray the fluid into the pipe going up to the top of the motor.

How do I fix and 97 GMC 1/2 ton with a 350 vortec. Runs great once running. Sat for 5 years. If sits more than 5 minutes wont start without shot of starer fluid

have you changed the fuel filter and emptied the gas tank and put fresh gas in? Stale gas will not start as well as fresh gas and there could be water from condensation in the tank.

Replaced washer pump and still no pressure

For front windshield, the hoses are usually easy to locate and replace. This is cheap hose so replace it. Other issues are that the spray nozzles can freeze if you don't have correct fluid in them. Most of these can also be replaced, but this may be harder depending on the location. I don't know on your car, but many modern cars have these attached to the wiper arms, so it may be very easy.

Large power steering fluid leak on 1999 Chevy Malibu. any advise? Would help a lot if I could find a link for a fluid line diagram showing which are high pressure

if you have a large leak,, its not hard to tell if its on the power side,, the return side won't be spraying the fluid all over the place like the high side does, It will pretty much just drip, as far as a diagram, any autozone , napa, or parts store can print that for you ( as well as any Chevy dealers parts dept) free. Luckily the hoses on the malibu are short so they should be easily seen

thats the high side hose for your car

You might be experiencing a problem with your Vats security system. GM installed these anti theft systems on almost all of its cars in the 90's. (that little black chip in your key) They are known for turning off starters and injectors. Check out this link for symptoms, explanation of how it works, and solutions to the problem that you can do yourself. Hope this helps. http://vatspasslockpasskeysecurityhelp.yolasite.com/

WOn't start . It is cold here. Want to spray

the best for you to do is stop by your local library and get your hands on a Haynes auto repair manual for your car be careful of spraying to much starter fluid in the throttle body it could cause a fire make sure the engine is cold while you spray it and someone else is try starting it wish you the best of luck its cold here in Michigan too.

My wiper fluid sprays weak, i hear the wiper motor on my 95 maxim

When the hood is down the line is kinked. Just slide the line one way a little bit. If it gets worse then slide it the other way until it gets better and then tape it in place with some electrical tape so it won't move again. Hope this helps.

1987 s-10 2.5 engine idles too fast

I would check for a vacuum leak first. you can start the vehicle and spray starting fluid on the vacuum lines. If the Idle raises then you have a vacuum leak. NOTICE: do not spray starting fluid around or on hot engine parts or electrical elements, starting fluid has a very low flash point and will ignite very easily.
