'96 Avalon. Where is the flasher relay located?

Turn signal flasher is difficult to access. It is located behind the instrument cluster. The radio trim, driver side vent, and trim all around the speedo needs to come off. The gauge cluster must then be pulled out. Behind there you will find the factory three pronged flasher.

Be sure to get the CORRECT REPLACEMENT. It is specific to your vehicle, and is not a standard 3 pin thermal flasher.

I'm doubtful you could replace the flasher from fishing your hand up from the pedal area, but maybe.

Before going though all that, I would recommend replacing the flasher FUSE. The fuse box has a diagram of what goes to what on the backside of the cover plate.

The combination flasher unit for the turn signals and hazard flashers is located to the left of the floor console behind the lower steering colum trim cover.

good luck

Turn signals light, but do not blink Where is the turn signal flasher located for a 1991 Olds Cutlass Ciera

There should be on on the fuse box under the dash, and another behind the radio. The one on the fuse box usually handles the emergency flashers.
You might want to use the emergency flashers to make sure all of the bulbs are working.

Where is fuse for blinkers on 1989 buick skylark

REPLACEMENT The hazard flasher is located forward of the console on all N-Body vehicles. The turn signal flasher is located behind the instrument panel, on the left side of the steering column bracket. Replace the flasher by unplugging the old one and plugging in the new one. Confirm proper flasher operation.

The flasher is located behind the dash (trim removed for clarity)

2003 pontica grand am making clicking noise

The turn signal flasher and the hazard flasher are both integrated in to the hazard warning switch on the dash, this is acually called a Hazard Warning module, there is a GM bulliten for this,it is acually a recall for the complaint your having, the GM bulliten # is 03043A and the dealership will replace the Hazard Warning switch module at no charge to you,GM knows about the failing switch and that is why they issued the recall on them,so i suggest you bring that car into the dealership so they can replace it at no charge parts and labor, bring the campaign number that i gave you that way theres no guesswork.oh and it only takes about 10 min to replace :).
The clicking noise is the faulty flasher relay module, it's been know that the flashers are still funtional and you can hear them working but don't have enough voltage to activate the lights. I could be wrong. LOL Good luck and hope this helps.

Electronc flasher

The electronic flasher fuse is at location 13 in the fuse box. The fuse panel is located below and to the left of the steering wheel by the brake pedal. Remove the panel cover to access the fuses

The Flasher Relay is located on the passanger side behind the center console(radio and climate control stuff) is a 2 prong, pale green cylinder relay with a square nipple attaching it to a piece of metal to keep it in place. If you open the passanger side and lean into the floor board and look up over the main support brackets for the radio it should be right there. It has a wire attached to it. It may even have "FLASHER" printed on it. If anyone made changes to the radio or other electronics, it may be moved.

Both my flashers and turn signals do not work.

I would say you have a bad multifunction switch. Here is a pic with the test for the switch.

I would also check for pulsing voltage to LB and WH/RD wires at the multifunction switch. These are the 2 feeds from the flasher relay. The flasher relay is located under dash behind the headlamp switch area.

Gmc sierra turn flasher location

The flasher on this vehicle looks nothing like the flasher's of yesteryear. It will be located behind the drivers side knee bolster(under the steering wheel). It will be a small black box that is about 3 inches wide, 2 inches deep, and 1 inch thick. It may be somewhat difficult to locate because on some of the GM trucks they actually hide it behind the guage cluster bezel but to the left of the guages. Let me know if I can help you any further.
