Question about 2000 Ford Focus
When i turn the ignition to 2nd stage the abs light on the instrument panel dose not light at all, although the brakes are working without the abs function, could you tell me what the problem is and how to fix it
Read your owner manual to see when the BAS light should be on during "prove out." Sometimes the prove out is after the engine starts.
Also, if the ABS ever fails, you always still have regular power brakes.
You should go on a gravel road and slam on the brakes to se if the anti'lock still functions. You will hear the BAS motor run and the pedal pulse. good luck
