Check wiring between the doors and the body could be a broken wire or 2 if so soldering the wires back together should solve the problem

SOURCE: central locking, electric windows and

I had the same problem and it was the fuse. I don't remember the number, but it has the symbol for the dome light and that fuse also controls the windows and locking system.

SOURCE: central locking was locking and unlocking the 4

hi there...no, the door is not the problem,it sounds to me like the relay that controls the locking system is causing a bad earth, this would account for the draining of the battery, and will also affect the rest of your relays from time to time...take it to an auto electrician, ( not the dealer ), they will be able to run all sorts of tests on the electrical system...and doing this will also be cheaper than buying a new door,

I have no power going to the rear o/s side lights fuse o/k small bulbs not working large stop/tail o/k

After 2001 your car is fitted with CECM central electronic control module. It means that is case your bulb is brokek , CECM will not send power on the bulb until you replace it. If your can stays in ignition, cecm remember last connections to bulb. After you replace the bulb you have to remove key form ignition and let system to recognize working bulb.

I hope you checked all fuses before...

If you wont have power on bulb let me know , ill send you on fixya wiring diagram, when i will know your vin number.

Skoda ovtavia fob only opens drivers door

Check your car setup. Read the manual on MAXI DOT and look for Main Menu > Settings > Comfort > Central Locking. Within the Comfort menu you can also reset to factory which should set central locking to automatic.
I hope this helps.

My Skoda Octavia '97 lighter don't work.

The lighter socket has a separate fuse. I'm not really sure where the cockpit fuse panel is located in your model (didn't have myself), but I'm sure it should be documented in the owners manual.
Later models had the fuse panel at the left dashboard side which is accessible from the opened drivers door. (UK: possibly mirrored) I can imagine the early octavia still has the fuse panel under the dash either at drivers or passenger side. This was usual for a long time.
