2006 chevrolet hhr vibration while driving

Most of the time this is due to an unbalanced, or out-of-round tire due to belt seperation, especially if the vibration get harder the faster you go. Otherwise have a garage check your alignment.
Unless you have had an impact to the front end, these are probably your solution. Good luck, I hope this helps you.

I would suspect a bad tire with a broken belt.. Have the tires inspected.. Or perhaps a broken shock or strut..Spraying water to the underside should not cause this type of issue..

I have a 2006 hhr and the abs and tc light is on and stays on? I had left the gas cap off and ever since the engine light and that is off and now this?

Could be a problem with the wheel hub. Had the same problem on a Grand Am. Don't know about the HHR. I had to replace the hub. The vibration from the bad hub causes the ABS sensor to trip. When the ABS light is on, it turns the T/C off.

Roar in front end

I have the same thing. It started last summer when I had about 20,000 miles. I just took it into the dealer. They say it is the antenna and that they removed it and tested drove it and the noise went away. Mine starts around 35 mph. I don't know if they are pulling my leg and there is a bigger problem that the financially strapped GM won't fix. I also have a bad CV joint and unless it goes out within the next 500 miles, GM won't replace it.
